The August Meeting of Council for 2020 was held via Zoom last night, Tuesday 25 August, with all Councillors in attendance. In line with new allowances from the Victorian Government due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting was held virtually and livestreamed on Council’s YouTube page.
In a media release on 23 August 2020, Agriculture Victoria advised it has now completed work on depopulating the four poultry farms confirmed to have avian influenza in the Golden Plains Shire and East Gippsland.
In a media release on 20 August 2020, WestWind Energy announced that the Court of Appeal – Supreme Court of Victoria handed down its decision in relation to the Golden Plains Wind Farm on 20 August 2020.
