Golden Plains Shire Council has launched a new grant program to help the community respond to the changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, following the easing of restrictions for events late last year.
Residents and members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of Council which are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6pm, with the exception of the meeting on the third Tuesday in January and December.
This year, Council Meetings will be held on the following Tuesdays:
Golden Plains Shire Council's Customer Service Centres in Smythesdale and Bannockburn reopened at 8.30am this morning, following the Christmas and New Year break. The Customer Service team is ready to help with all your Council enquiries in 2021 from 8.30am to 5pm each week day.
Creatives from across Golden Plains Shire have come together virtually to create a short digital piece on the local experience of COVID-19 social isolation thanks to a grant from the Australian Government.
