Golden Plains Shire Council will be implementing a number of changes to its operations in line with the upgraded Coronavirus (COVID-19) Stage Three restrictions that come into force this week.
Sixteen Golden Plains community groups have successfully secured Community Strengthening Grants from Council, to deliver an exciting range of community projects and programs across the Shire.
At last night’s Ordinary Meeting, Council resolved to commence the statutory procedures under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 to invite public submissions on its intention to grant a lease to Kardinia Childcare Inc.
At last night’s July Ordinary Meeting, Council endorsed its new Governance Rules (including Public Participation in Council Meetings Policy and Election Period Policy) and Public Transparency Policy, which are now out for public comment.
