Discover the Golden Plains Farmers’ Market
The Golden Plains Farmers’ Market is a vibrant monthly community event held in the heart of Bannockburn, a rural town just 30 minutes north of Geelong. Established in 2009 by the Golden Plains Shire Council and awarded the 2017 Tourism and Hospitality Award at the Geelong Business Excellence Awards, the market offers an authentic regional experience where visitors can connect directly with local farmers, makers, and artisans.
As a key destination along the Moorabool Valley Taste Trail, the market showcases a diverse range of goods – from seasonal fruits and veggies, fine wines, spirits, artisan breads, spices, sauces, gourmet snacks, handmade gifts and more. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re shopping for your pantry, your home, or a special occasion.
With live music, food stalls, great coffee, and a laid-back country vibe, the market is a much-loved event for both locals and visitors. The Golden Plains Farmers’ Market is held on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January & December) from 9am – 1pm.
