Bannockburn Wildlife Rescue is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit wildlife rescue group based in Bannockburn, serving the Golden Plains Shire and surrounding areas including Lara, Little River, and parts of Geelong.We respond to calls for assistance with sick, injured, orphaned, or distressed native Australian wildlife. This includes kangaroos, wallabies, possums, birds such as wedge-tailed eagles, magpies, and waterbirds , reptiles, and other species.Our dedicated team of volunteers provides immediate rescue, safe transport, and coordination with veterinary care, ensuring animals receive the help they need.We operate 24/7, often attending call-outs at all hours, and rely entirely on community support and donations to continue this important work.
