Golden Plains Shire Council has welcomed the news that the Midland Highway and Clyde Road intersection in Bannockburn will be upgraded as part of the joint Federal and Victorian Government infrastructure package announced today.
Twelve Central Victorian Councils have welcomed $50,000 in Victorian Government funding to help build the capacity of the region’s visitor economy, with improvements aimed at supporting a future World Heritage Listing bid for the Central Victorian Goldfields.
Kindergarten registrations are now open for pre-kindergarten (3-year-old) and funded Kindergarten (4-year-old) programs at Council operated Kindergartens at Inverleigh, Meredith, Rokewood and Teesdale and funded Kindergarten (4-year-old) at Bannockburn.
The centre of Golden Plains Shire is shining bright with the new lighting towers at Rokewood Recreation Reserve completed and switched on, ready for the return of local community sport.
Golden Plains Shire Council’s Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy 2020-2030 is now out for public exhibition, following endorsement by Council at last week’s Ordinary Meeting.
