In accordance with Victorian legislation, Council is currently reviewing its Mayoral and Councillor Allowances and is now seeking public submissions on the proposed allowance levels.

A section of Meredith-Shelford Road in Bamganie will be closed to traffic for four days, from Tuesday 4 May to Thursday 6 May for bridge and culvert replacement works.

These works are part of the ongoing Meredith-Shelford Road widening project.

Opening of Victoria Park Lights Golden Plains Shire Council

Yesterday afternoon, Senator Sarah Henderson officially opened the Victoria Park Recreation Reserve Sports Lighting Project in Bannockburn, joined by Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Helena Kirby and Bannockburn Football Netball Club President Scott Penning.

Forgot to renew your pet's registration Golden Plains Shire Council

Thank you to the owners of 5,588 cats and dogs who renewed or registered their pets by 10 April 2021.

Council will shortly send out final reminder notices to owners of the 1,540 cats and dogs that missed the deadline and whose pets are now unregistered.
