Two official 2020 Australia Day Ambassadors will help celebrate Australia Day at a number of community events across Golden Plains Shire later this month.
Golden Plains Shire Council has secured a significant grant from the Victorian Government’s Streamlining for Growth Program to fund an exciting partnership of Council and the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) that will develop the new Bannockburn Growth Plan in 2020.
***UPDATE 3.30PM FRIDAY 10 JANUARY: In good news for the local community, Council has been able to find a technological solution that will allow the Linton Customer Service Centre to remain open on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 January as usual, with no disruption to its customer service.***
Fresh new signs have been installed at the major entry roads to Golden Plains Shire in Smythesdale and Batesford, welcoming residents and visitors travelling the road to our Shire.
There are also new town signs at the entries to two of the Shire's townships: Enfield and Mannibadar.
Residents and members of the public are welcome to attend Ordinary Meetings of Council which are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6pm, with the exception of the meeting on the third Tuesday of December.
