Golden Plains Shire kids and families are encouraged to get active this October by taking part in VicHealth’s Walk to School program – what a great opportunity to improve children’s health and wellbeing!
This September, the young Golden Plains leaders from the Western Bulldogs Leadership project project gathered with Mayor Phelan and 60 friends and family to graduate from their life-changing, 7-month leadership course – and they did it with a big bang!
The venue for the Ordinary Meeting of Golden Plains Shire Council to be held on Tuesday 26 September 2017 has changed.
The Ordinary Meeting will be held at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre, 27 High Street, Bannockburn at 4.00pm and not the Shire Hall as previously advertised.
Local and regional creatives are encouraged to register as featured artists in the 2018 Golden Plains Arts Trail, expected to attract thousands of visitors.
This is a great opportunity for residents to showcase their creative and artistic talents and possibly make some money.
Golden Plains Shire continues to experience strong population growth according to new data released from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The Shire is rated equal third fastest growing regional Council area in Victoria by percentage growth rate.
