Councillor Code of Conduct

The Councillor Code of Conduct 2021 was adopted by resolution of the Golden Plains Shire Council on 23 February 2021. It represents a commitment by Councillors to good governance, and values and standards that promote fairness, objectivity, accountability and transparency in decision making... to achieve outcomes that reflect the diverse needs and interests of the local community.

Councillor Dispute Resolution Policy 2021

The Councillor Dispute Resolution Policy 2021 was adopted by resolution of the Golden Plains Shire Council on 23 February 2021. The Policy sets out a hierarchy of responses and procedural steps that apply when an allegation of misconduct is made against a Councillor, and operates with the Councillor Code of Conduct 2021.
