Teesdale Structure Plan: Panel Hearing

Planning
Teesdale

Planning Panels Victoria will hold its Planning Panel Hearing on the Teesdale Structure Plan (Amendment C92gpla) later this week on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 June.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Planning Panel Hearing will take place online over Zoom. While members of the public will be unable to attend in-person, the Planning Panel will be livestreamed on Council’s website and YouTube page to ensure accessibility. A link to Council’s YouTube page will be made available on Council’s website prior to the hearing.

All submitters who requested to be heard by the Panel for Planning Scheme Amendment C92gpla (Teesdale Structure Plan) have been informed by Planning Panels Victoria, and a number of residents will participate in the hearing over Zoom.

As with in-person hearings, please be advised that the hearing must not be recorded in any part, including audio and video recording.

The Teesdale Structure Plan (TSP) is a strategic planning document that will guide the future growth of Teesdale. Initial engagement was undertaken in late 2019, and the draft TSP was endorsed by Council in April 2020. From November 2020 to January 2021, the TSP and Amendment C92gpla were on public exhibition, and received 23 submissions from community members, developers and agencies. Council made some minor changes following this process and requested the Minister for Planning appoint an independent Planning Panel to resolve the outstanding objections.
