Quotes attributable to Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Owen Sharkey:
This program is entering its fourth year which is a testament to the incredible artists we have in our community. We’re thrilled to also expand the program to Smythesdale this year for community members unable to get down to the Bannockburn Library.
Registrations for these workshops fill up quickly so I suggest getting in fast. It’s always fantastic to work together with GRLC to deliver these fun and creative workshops to the community.
Quotes attributable to Geelong Regional Libraries Corporation Acting CEO David Semmens:
These workshops are a wonderful way for people to connect with local artists and explore their own creativity in a welcoming environment.
They’ve become incredibly popular with the community, often booking out, and we’re proud to partner with Golden Plains Shire to support local artists while creating opportunities for people to learn new skills and experience the joy of making art.
