SUPPORT LOCAL YOUTH AT SKATE COMPETITION IN BANNOCKBURN

A group of local young people have spent months organising the Barwon South West Skate League Competition to be held on Friday 31 March in Bannockburn.

More than 50 young people are lined up to compete in this skate, scoot and BMX event, and 200 people are expected to attend. Participants will present their skills to a panel of judges and go in the running to win division prizes. Winners then progress to the Regional Finals.

Members of the event committee, who are all under 25, have been meeting weekly to make sure the competition is a great community event.

Residents are invited to attend to support the local young people making this event happen—to see what a small group of talented and dedicated young residents can do when they work together for the community.

The event will also offer food and beverages from the Lions Club, so you can grab a bite as you watch talented sporting contestants compete. Simply by being there, you are showing your support for the young residents volunteering their time to make our communities stronger and more connected. Event details are as follows:
