Boost your glass recycling: A simple step for glass recycling.
Please remove the lids from all glass jars and bottles before they go into the glass bin - lids and glass cannot be recycled together. Removing lids prevents contamination, ensuring the glass is properly recycled.
Wondering what you can do with the lids? Here’s a quick guide:
- Metal lids: Put them into your mixed recycling bin (yellow lid).
- Plastic lids (bigger than a credit card): These can also go in your mixed recycling bin (yellow lid).
- Small plastic lids: These should go in your general waste bin (green or red lid bin).
