Federal Election: Funding Commitments for Golden Plains Shire townships in the Ballarat electorate

With the Federal Election on Saturday 21 May, the major political parties have made significant election commitments to the communities of Golden Plains Shire. 

The Australian Labor Party (ALP) has made three election commitments for Golden Plains Shire townships in the Ballarat electorate:

 

  • $750,000 towards the $880,000 reconstruction of the Linton Recreation Reserve Oval
  • $500,000 towards the $650,000 oval and netball lighting project at Woady Yaloak Recreation Reserve in Smythesdale
  • $350,000 towards the $700,000 Maude Community Hub project

These commitments will be delivered if the ALP wins the Federal Election on 21 May.

As of Monday 16 May, the Liberal Party have not made any election commitments to Golden Plains Shire communities in the Ballarat electorate.
