Council is keen to gauge community interest in our new ‘Bringing Up Great Kids’ sessions for parents and carers, to be run over three sessions in March.
While most families already do incredible jobs bringing up their children, these sessions allow parents to hear from the experts (Centacare Ballarat) with practical tips on how you can raise confident and happy children, using mindfulness and reflection techniques and much more. By the end of the sessions, attendees will emerge with new approaches that can enhance interactions and connections with their children.
Sessions will be held at the Lethbridge Playgroup Building (Recreation Reserve Hall, Stephenson Street). They will start on Tuesday 20 March from 10am-12pm and continue weekly, with the second session on Tuesday 27 March and the third and last session on Tuesday 3 April.
Gold coin donation is all that is required.
Childcare may be available but you would need to book in advance to secure this.
