Embracing Digital Delivery of the Golden Plains Shire Gazette

Digital Gazette
News

From September 2025, the Golden Plains Shire Gazette will be moving to digital-only delivery, making it easier than ever to stay informed and helping us reduce our environmental footprint. You can get all the latest updates on your phone or computer, anytime, anywhere.

The Gazette is Council's most regular and comprehensive publication, produced four times per year, and includes Council news, project updates and events. The move to digital-only delivery aligns with Council’s broader sustainability goals and reduces waste. The publication will also include the most up-to-date information including direct links to more information.

We understand, however, that not everyone has access to digital so for a period of time, we will provide limited numbers of hard copies for those who request them. Please contact our Customer Experience Hubs in Bannockburn and Smythesdale on 5220 7111 to access a hard copy when each Gazette is published.

Council’s eGazette e-newsletter will be discontinued to reduce duplication and enhance the delivery of streamlined communication. We understand these changes may take a little while to get used to, and we’re committed to making the transition as smooth as possible.
