Is your pet unregistered?

General

Thank you to all the Golden Plains Shire residents who renewed their 2020 pet registrations in April. If you missed registration and your renewal is outstanding, now is the time to get your pet registered.

The 2020 animal registration renewal notices were sent out in March, and under Victorian Government legislation, all pets must be registered every year by 10 April. This year, under Council’s Financial Hardship Policy in response to COVID-19, penalties for late payments have been waived until 30 September.

In August, Council will send out final notices to all pet owners who have not renewed or paid their animal registration for 2020.

Register Now

Council now offers payment plans for animal registrations via BPAY. If you would like to sign up for the 2020 payment plan, please call Council’s Customer Service team at 5220 7111.

If you are not signing up for the payment plan, there are a number of ways residents can pay their renewal notices:

  • In person at Council’s Bannockburn or Smythesdale Customer Service Centres
  • BPAY
  • Over the phone at 5220 7111
  • Post Billpay

Please note that the BPay Biller Code on the 2020 Animal Registration Renewal Notice was incorrect.

Currently on the 2020 Animal Registration Renewal Notice

BILLER CODE:  2338 for cats and 2337 for dogs

Correct Biller Code

BILLER CODE:  35238

The printed Biller Code does not exist so there is no risk of lost payment. The BPay Reference number is correct as printed in the 2020 Notice. Council apologises for any inconvenience.

If you have any questions about paying your animal registration notice, the Biller Code or if you need a new copy of your animal registration renewal notice, please call Council’s Customer Service team at 5220 7111.
