Geelong Regional Libraries is reviewing their mobile library services across Golden Plains and are inviting community feedback to help guide its future.

The Golden Plains Mobile Library is an important way to connect communities to library services. Looking forward Geelong Regional Libraries wants to make sure these services continue to meet local needs in a practical way.

Some challenges have been identified that impact the ability to provide consistent and flexible mobile library services. These include fixed visiting schedules, vehicle maintenance affecting service reliability, and the operational requirements of specialised vehicles and licensed drivers.

Geelong Regional Libraries invites feedback from residents of:

  • Anakie 
  • Cape Clear 
  • Dereel 
  • Enfield 
  • Grenville 
  • Haddon 
  • Linton  
  • Meredith. 
  • Rokewood 
  • Smythesdale.

Chat with staff at a local pop-up session Thursday 14 May, Meredith: 8.50am-10.30am (the library is on site 9:00am - 10:30am).
