Domestic Wastewater Management Plan

About

Council sought feedback from residents and domestic wastewater practitioners on the Golden Plains Domestic Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP).

Originally adopted in 2015, Council is currently undertaking a review of the DWMP to reflect changes since its development, including legislative and policy changes as well as growth within the Shire. The review will provide an opportunity to update the current approach to domestic wastewater management planning and prepare for likely future developments.

Domestic wastewater management refers to the management of wastewater generated by households, commercial or public buildings which are not connected to the reticulated sewerage.

The DWMP was open for public exhibition from 2 November to Monday 21 November.
