Once your application is lodged, Council will send you an invoice for the fees within 1-2 days. For some applications, a fee is collected at the time of lodgement.
Planning Fees
Fees for planning permits and strategic planning amendments are set by the Planning & Environment Regulations 2015. The current list of fees can be found below. It is important to note that Council does not set the fees for planning permits and strategic amendments. Fees for non-statutory services such as secondary consents and written planning advice is set by Council.
Waivers and Rebates
There are limited opportunities for Council to waive or refund planning fees. We are guided by our organisational policy on Statutory Planning Fee Waivers and Rebates - which can be viewed below.
