Works to begin on Berringa Intersection Upgrade

Upcoming Road Works Berringa
Berringa

Improvement works are set to begin at the intersection of Derwent Jacks Road, Snowgum Road, Staffordshire Reef Road and Crombs Road in Berringa next week.

The road works will commence on Monday 23 May and will continue until the end of June. The improvement works will see the widening and sealing of approximately 100m of Staffordshire Reef Road, Snowgum Road and 50m of Derwent Jack Road leading from the intersection.

The $306,900 upgrade of the Berringa intersection, funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Infrastructure fund and delivered by Council, follows community requests to Council to improve the intersection.

Drivers may experience some disruption during this period, with delays due to a reduced speed through the work site and single lane closure.
