Site preparation works have commenced to upgrade Inverleigh’s Yerram Yaluk Bun Park. This exciting project will result in a vibrant hub for young people and the local community.
Construction includes a new skate park, pump track, 3x3 basketball courts, seating and shelters, alongside lighting and beautification works.
To ensure community safety, the flying fox will be unavailable until works are completed. The playground, public toilets and car park will remain available to the public during the large majority of works with only minimal disruption anticipated from time to time. The construction period is due to continue into the second half of 2024 and regular community updates will be provided.
Residents can expect additional construction traffic entering East Street off the Hamilton Highway during works.
