Road upgrade works will begin on Bells Road and Geggies Road in Rokewood in the coming weeks.
The road works, which were deferred earlier in the year, will commence on Monday 18 July and continue until late 2022, with crews operating on weekdays from 7am to 7pm.
Drivers may experience some disruption during this period, with speed limits to be reduced between Rokewood-Shelford Road and Cressy-Shelford Road, and various sections closed with access limited to local traffic only. There will be full and partial closures of Geggies Road and Bells Road and access to Geggies Road and Bells Road from Rokewood-Shelford Road and Cressy-Shelford Road will also have altered conditions.
Detours will be in place during any road closures and drivers advised to travel safely, obey reduced speed limits and the directions of traffic controllers, and be considerate of road workers and other traffic.
The works are part of the ongoing upgrade of Bells Road and Geggies Road and will include a bridge upgrade on Geggies Road and the replacement of culverts, pavement stabilising and crushed rock placement on the two roads.
