Works will begin on an 18km section of Colac-Ballarat Road between Enfield and Rokewood next week.
The road works will commence on Monday 21 February and will continue until July, with crews operating on weekdays from 7am to 5pm. Works will include shoulder widening and sealing of the road, building on other safety improvements made earlier this year.
The works are part of a $1.89 million upgrade of the Regional Roads Victoria managed road, funded by $1,512,000 from the Australian Government and $378,000 from the Victorian Government as part of the $245 million joint package to deliver road safety works across Victoria.
Drivers may experience some disruption during this period, with delays of up to five minutes due to a reduced speed of 40km/h through the work site. There will be no detours or lane closures.
