Upcoming Closure: Meredith Interpretive Centre

Meredith Interpretive Centre
Facilities
Meredith

The Meredith Interpretive Centre at 12 Wallace Street, Meredith will be closed from Monday 5 September to Friday 9 September for septic upgrade works.
Works will be undertaken to decommission and remove the existing septic system at the facility and the installation of a new treatment and dispersal system.

The new system will support the growing number of users of the Interpretive Centre and ensure the public toilets are able to manage the increase in use due to the popularity of the neighbouring community garden.

While works are underway, the public toilet at the Interpretive Centre will be unavailable. The nearest public toilets are located at:

  • Meredith Recreation Reserve, 25 Wilson Street, Meredith
  • Lethbridge Recreation Reserve, 8 Stephenson Street, Lethbridge

Council appreciates the community’s understanding and patience during this upgrade.

The $42,000 Meredith Interpretive Centre Septic Upgrade is fully funded by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program.
