Golden Plains Shire Council advises that the playground at the Bannockburn Heart, Milton Street, Bannockburn will be partially closed this weekend for upgrade works.
The upgrade works are scheduled to be undertaken from Friday 30 September to Tuesday 4 October, dependant on weather conditions, with some play elements to be closed during this time.
The works will include the replacement of fake turf areas with soft fall to prevent damage, the installation of a new retaining wall within the garden bed surrounding the playground to prevent erosion and the replanting of a garden bed on the corner of Milton Street and Byron Street.
The Heart will remain open to the public in the areas where works are not being undertaken. Residents are encouraged to follow all signage while works are underway.
