Golden Plains Shire Council is thrilled to deliver the Golden Plains Careers Expo (the Expo) in 2025, with the event to be held on Friday 6 June from 10am to 6pm at the YMCA in Bannockburn.

This unique event offers people of all ages a chance to connect with industry leaders and local businesses, explore exciting educational and career pathways, and discover opportunities to boost employment prospects.

Attendees can engage with industry experts representing education, skills and training institutions, emergency services, the Australian Defence Force, local government, agriculture and much more.

Golden Plains Shire Acting Mayor Cr Helena Kirby invited people of all ages to attend this year’s Expo.

We’re thrilled to deliver the Golden Plains Careers Expo in 2025. This event offers numerous benefits for job seekers - allowing networking opportunities, information gathering about industries and companies and the chance to make a memorable impression, Cr Kirby said.

The Expo isn’t just exclusive to young people, it’s a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to explore their career options and training opportunities, she said.

We look forward to welcoming a variety of industry professionals and special guest speakers who will discuss industry information, pathway support and job seeker skill development.
