Success for Cari’s School of Dance in Teesdale

Community

Teesdale’s Cari’s School of Dance has reached new and exciting heights, with three of its troupe teams competing at the Warrnambool Eisteddfod in July, and the under 10 and under 13 teams achieving first place!

Cari's School of Dance, which teaches around 100 students from around our Shire, offers lessons in modern, jazz, contemporary, hip hip/funk and theatrical dance. Classes are held at the Teesdale Community Hall, where participants can see themselves in large dance mirrors. Cari holds technique and troupe competition classes and participants show off their skills in a special end-of-year performance. There is even a special class for boys.

Cari, the owner, said on her Facebook page, “I love passing on my knowledge and the love of dancing to my students. At Cari's School of Dance our focus is on dance being fun and enjoyable for all our students. I enjoy watching my students develop through dance and seeing their confidence grow.”

Well done to Cari, and to her wonderful community dance school on their recent double win, and congratulations to all the young winners and their families.
