Golden Plains Shire Council is hosting a series of activities for young people aged 12 to 25 years throughout the September School Holidays, with activities running from Monday 19 September to Friday 30 September

The free school holiday activities are a fantastic opportunity for young people to come together and enjoy fun, engaging activities and connect with other young people from across Golden Plains.

In the September School Holidays, Council’s Youth Development team will hit the road to host a series of Youth Roadshow events in Linton, Inverleigh and Dereel where local young people will be able to come to enjoy music, games, arts and crafts and a BBQ. In Bannockburn, Drop-in sessions will be held at the Golden Plains Youth Hub where young people are invited to drop in and enjoy music, Nintendo, food and a great atmosphere.

Council is committed to providing a range of programs and activities across a diversity of townships to reach all young people across the Shire and we are excited to hit the road these school holidays, taking the free activities to Linton, Dereel and Inverleigh.

The Youth Roadshow events in Inverleigh, Dereel and Linton were partly funded by a $2000 grant from the Victorian Government’s Youth Festival to fund events across Victoria in September 2022.
