FREE movie & pizza night, Smythesdale
Council is running a movie night for young people aged 12-18 years in Smythesdale on Friday 5 October during the school holidays, where we’ll be screening Guardians of the Galaxy. The event will be held at The Well from 6.00pm-8.30pm, and will be supervised and fully catered – guests can enjoy pizza, snacks and drinks – on us!
This youth movie night is all about bringing young people together in a safe and fun environment, that is fully supervised.

Abstract block workshop
Come and create your very own abstract block art piece in this fun and free workshop at the Meredith Interpretive Centre (The BOP Arts Co Op) on Tuesday 25 September.
Taught by a local professional artist, and sponsored by Golden Plains Shire Council, participants will learn colour blending basics and acrylic paint application.
Sessions are free however booking are required; call our Arts team on 5220 7212 or email [email protected].

Come and try fishing day, Lethbridge
The Bannockburn Angling Club invites families to attend their FREE Fishing Day at the Lethbridge Lake on Sunday 23 September, ideal for 2-16 year olds, who can have fun in the great outdoors and learn a new skill. Families can also enjoy kids’ activities and a BBQ.

Mind body yoga for kids, Bannockburn
The kids will love this school holiday yoga program running at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre on Tuesday 2 October. Mind Body Yoga offers fun in the way of imaginative play, movement exploration, strengthening, relaxation (and more!), and all the while, kids can socialise and have a blast.
