Golden Plains Shire Council is pleased to support Small Business Victoria’s Small Business Bus as it embarks on its regional tour in October.

Hosted by Small Business Victoria, the Small Business Bus will be out and about in the Golden Plains Shire offering free 30-minute, one-on-one appointments with aspiring and existing business owners.

The Small Business Bus will be stationed directly opposite the Courthouse Hotel, 62 Brooke Street, Smythesdale on Monday 16 October 2023.
Bookings are preferred; however, walk-ins are also welcome for this Bus Concierge service. To book a 30-minute appointment head to the following link: business.vic.gov.au/learning-and-advice/workshops-and-small-business-bus

The renowned mobile support program provides invaluable assistance to small business owners. Participants have an opportunity discuss their unique needs and challenges with expert guidance from representatives from the Monarch Institute.

Golden Plains Shire Council Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham encourages small business to utilise this free service.

“The Small Business Bus is a wonderful opportunity for the Smythesdale community and surrounding areas to take full advantage of this free service.  It’s a great way to identify a clear direction for your business, discuss any key issues and priorities, or learn new skills,” Cr Cunningham said.

“Whether you’re starting building, or transforming your business, we encourage small businesses to take full advantage of this exceptional opportunity.”
