Golden Plains Shire Council advises that road improvement works have recommenced at the Rokewood-Shelford Road intersections of Geggies Road and Gumley South Road.

Access to these roads will remain open to local traffic and essential services, with drivers required to follow the directions of traffic controllers. Works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 25 January.

Further road improvement works on Geggies Road have also commenced, with the road operating under traffic management between the hours of 7am to 5pm for local residents and essential services only. These traffic conditions are expected to be in place until early February.

Full public access to Bells Road has been reinstated following the completion of primary improvement works, with some minor works to be completed in late January.

All roads within the work area will have a reduced speed limit of 40km/h for the duration of the works. Drivers are advised to travel safely, obey reduced speed limits and the directions of traffic controllers, and be considerate of road workers and other traffic.
