Golden Plains Shire Council invites residents to view and share their feedback on the proposed Lethbridge Skate Park Upgrade concept designs.
Located at the Lethbridge Active Youth Space, the concept designs reflect community input gathered in February this year. Features in the concept designs include diverse banks, ramps, open street elements, refuge areas, pathing, shade structures with seating and more.
Community members can provide feedback on the concept designs in the following ways:
- By attending an in-person workshop on Wednesday 30 April from 5 to 6pm at the Lethbridge Recreation Reserve, 8 Stephenson Street, Lethbridge.
- By completing an online survey.
Golden Plains Shire Council Interim CEO Steve Sagona encouraged regular skate park users and the broader community to view the skate park designs.
Thanks to your feedback provided in February, we’ve been able to create these concept designs and are thrilled to present them to the community, Mr Sagona said.
I encourage residents to have a look at the designs and provide feedback so we can ensure they meet the needs of skate park users and users of the Active Youth Space.
Feedback on the concept designs is invited from Wednesday 23 April to 5pm, Wednesday 7 May 2025, and can be completed online at goldenplains.vic.gov.au/consultations. The survey will also be available at Council’s Customer Hubs located at 2 Pope Street, Bannockburn, and 19 Heales Street, Smythesdale.
Following the consultation period, final concept plans will be utilised to inform and develop detailed designs. These designs will then be used to seek funding support and plan for future project delivery.
