PLAYGROUPS ACROSS THE PLAINS

Child & Family Services

Playgroups provide valuable opportunities for our young residents and their parents, grandparents or carers; and the Golden Plains Shire is home to a collection of fun, active playgroups.

Do you have a baby, toddler or pre-school age child who could benefit from socialisation and learning through play?

Would you like to meet new people and connect with other local parents and carers?

Playgroups are a great answer!

These community-run programs offer important opportunities for children and parents in the one place, and there are many across Golden Plains Shire.

There are regular playgroup gatherings in Rokewood, Inverleigh, Meredith, Lethbridge, Haddon, Enfield and District and Bannockburn.

Supported playgroups are located in Smythesdale and Bannockburn, while Golden Littles Bush Playgroups also operate at various locations.

For children, playgroups encourage socialisation and development through play and fun.

For parents and carers, playgroup provides a space to share experiences and make important community connections.

Most playgroups can be found on Facebook. For more information about playgroups in the Shire, click here.
