Golden Plains Shire Council is making it easier for residents to access community facilities and find funding opportunities, with the implementation of new online booking and grant finder systems.
A key objective of the Council Plan 2021-2025, the implementation of the SpacetoCo online booking system will make it easier for community members to book Council-managed community facilities. With a streamlined booking process and browsable facility library, the SpacetoCo system provides residents with better access to local community spaces.
The new system makes it easier for all community members to browse and book community facilities and aligns with Council’s commitment to activating community spaces and encouraging local participation.
Community members wanting to make a booking for a Council-managed facility or browse available spaces can visit goldenplains.vic.gov.au/community-facilities. For more information on community facilities, contact [email protected] or call 5220 7111.
Council has also partnered with Grant Guru to make it simpler for local community groups, businesses and individuals to find funding opportunities. The platform provides a comprehensive list of grant and funding opportunities currently available, with search and filter features that make it quick and easy for residents to find and apply for grants that meet their specific funding needs.
The platform can be tailored to meet the needs of community members, with email alerts for relevant new grants and the ability to save grants or streams to their favourites. It also provides users with tips to improve their grant applications and increase their success rate.
