Victorian Minister for Children and Minister for Disability the Hon. Lizzie Blandthorn proudly opened the Haddon Kindergarten Upgrade on Wednesday 24 April.

Minister Blandthorn joined Member for Ripon Martha Haylett and Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham to cut the ribbon alongside Haddon Kindergarten children and staff. The upgrade features two new modular kindergarten buildings which ensure additional funded three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten places.

This project was fully funded by the Victorian Government and was planned and implemented in collaboration with Golden Plains Shire Council and Eureka Community Kindergarten Association (ECKA).

The Victorian Government has also delivered a new kindergarten in Napoleons (which opened last year) and upgrades to kindergarten services at Bannockburn Family Services Centre. This work is part of the State Government’s Best Start, Best Life reform.
