As part of planned tree works along Wilson Street in Meredith, a section of the Meredith Multi Playspace will be temporarily unavailable to ensure community safety.
These works are expected to conclude on Thursday 14 December, and we ask the community to adhere to all safety directions and signage during this time.
The works include the removal of one pine tree and the lopping of several others along Wilson Street.
These works act on a recommendation from a recent Arborist’s report to address the ongoing health of the historic trees and ensure the safety of community users.
A new fence along the boundary of the Multi Playspace (with St Andrews Uniting Church and the neighbouring property) will occur following tree removal works.
Update - The tree works are now complete as of 14 December 2024.
