Inverleigh Tree Succession Plan Stage One
Strategies & Plans
Inverleigh

Stage One of the Inverleigh Tree Succession Plan has recently been completed with the planting of 52 trees.

28 Eucalyptus cinerea (Argyle Apple), 10 Eucalyptus camaldulensis (Red Gum), 4 Angophora Costata (Smooth-barked Apple) and 10 Quercus lobata (Valley Oak) have been planted on the eastern entrance to Inverleigh and within the public camping grounds.

These trees will be maintained for the next 24 months to ensure they thrive and become a vital part of the community's landscape.

Stage Two of the Inverleigh Tree Succession Plan is scheduled to begin in late 2024 with tree and stump removal works in the western entrance, followed by planting in mid-2024. Stage Three planting is scheduled to be completed by mid-2025.

The Inverleigh Tree Succession Plan was developed to detail the approach Council will take to the reinstatement of trees within Inverleigh and outlines the ongoing management of significant trees and newly planted trees at four locations throughout Inverleigh.
