Golden Plains Shire Council advises that the intersection of Bells Road and Rokewood-Shelford Road will be temporarily closed on Saturday 26 November 2022.
The closure will allow for the removal of an abandoned culvert which has been identified under Bells Road.
Access in-and-out of Bells Road will be limited to the Cressy-Shelford Road intersection for the duration of the culvert removal on Saturday.
Golden Plains Shire Council and the Department of Transport remind drivers that Rokewood-Shelford Road remains closed due to flood damage at the Warrambine Creek. Detours are in place via Cressy-Shelford Road and Colac-Ballarat Road, with drivers advised to avoid using unsealed local roads as alternate routes.
Drivers are advised to travel safely, obey reduced speed limits and the directions of traffic controllers, and be considerate of road workers and other traffic.
