Bannockburn
Two outdoor dining pods are scheduled to be installed on High Street in Bannockburn this week.
A wheelchair accessible pod will replace the old timber table beside Bannockburn Takeaway on the corner of Milton and High Streets, while a second pod will be placed on the existing concrete pad in the median strip opposite Caltex Woolworths Service Station at 1 High Street.
The existing table and bench seats will be relocated to another location.
The dining pods will provide a secure and weather protected spot for residents wishing to eat their meals outside.
The dining pods are fully funded by a grant received from the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Activation Grant initiative.
