Council is working with Sustain: The Australian Food Network to establish a Golden Plains Local Food Network.
Before launching the network, we are seeking community input to understand the food system needs and priorities of the community.
The Golden Plains Local Food Network aims to give residents and local stakeholders the opportunity to actively make decisions about their local food system. The Network will be a collaborative platform to discuss local food system issues, understand the strengths and challenges of the local food system, influence policy and support or launch programs, initiatives or services that address local needs.
We are inviting anyone 18 years or older who lives, works, volunteers or studies in Golden Plains to participate in this community food and farming survey.
