Following the collapse of SKM Recycling, Golden Plains Shire Council is working towards getting kerbside recycling back on track with a new provider before the end of the year. And we need your help!
Golden Plains Shire has a high contamination rate of recycling bins and it’s very important that all residents are putting only the correct recyclable items in the yellow-topped bins. Council and ultimately ratepayers will face increased costs from the new contractor for contamination from materials that should not be in the recycling bin.
We’re all in this together, and we’re asking for your help to make sure this transition back to kerbside recycling is as smooth as possible.
