Work to replace two bridges on Frenchmans Road in Corindhap is now complete.

The new two-lane, unrestricted-load concrete bridges replaced two single-lane, 20 tonne load-limited bridges which were in poor condition. A 240-metre unsealed section of Frenchmans Road located between the two bridges was also reconstructed and upgraded to a sealed road with improved roadside drainage.

The completed project will significantly reduce the response time for emergency vehicles and allow access for heavy vehicles across the two creeks.

Frenchmans Road is an important escape route during emergency conditions for the properties located on the west side of the bridges.
