Council advises that Federation Bridge in Inverleigh remains closed for all users.
The bridge has been closed to the public since January 2023 following flood damage from severe storms in October and November 2022.
Works to demolish the existing walk bridge and replace with a new suspension bridge are set to commence in the coming months.
Residents are advised to avoid the bridge and follow all safety directions. Pedestrians can access Savage Drive and Rankin Road using the footpaths alongside the Hamilton Highway and Common Road.
