Dental hygiene packs making a difference in our communities

Child & Family Services

Recently, the Scarsdale Country Women’s Association of Vic Inc presented the last 50 sets of dental hygiene packs to Golden Plains Shire Council’s Maternal and Child Health Nurse for distribution in the northern end of Golden Plains Shire.

Over the past two years, 200 sets have been provided for the benefit of families with infants to help promote good oral hygiene practises.

The Country Grocers in Smythesdale supplied products at cost and donated $100 towards the provision of these sets – both the Scarsdale Country Women’s Association and Council appreciate the generous support of this local business and the efforts of the Scarsdale Country Women's Association.
