COVID-19 Restrictions Update: 15 July 2021

Golden Plains Shire Council COVID-19 Update

The Victorian Government has announced all of Victoria including Golden Plains Shire will move to a snap five-day lockdown from 11.59pm tonight, Thursday 15 July, 2021 until 11.59pm, Tuesday 20 July, 2021.

In line with the Government's new restrictions, Golden Plains Shire Council will implement a number of changes to its operations to reduce the risks to residents, staff and volunteers.

Customer Service Centres at Bannockburn and Smythesdale are now closed to in-person interactions until at least 8.30am, Wednesday 21 July.

Council will publish more information on how the lockdown restrictions will affect its other facilities and services tomorrow, Friday 16 July.
