Bannockburn Family Services Centre car park upgrade

Car park upgrade
Roads & Transport

Council is upgrading the Bannockburn Family Services Centre car park with works scheduled to commence on Monday 6 March.

The works include laying asphalt to improve existing pavement, drainage upgrades, removal of the traffic island and kerb outstand, installation of new kerbs, channels and edge strips and improved line markings. Works also include traffic signs, treatments and crushed rock surfacing.

Council’s priority is to ensure the health and safety of the Bannockburn Family Services Centre car park users, and works will be completed in stages until mid-April to accommodate family drop off and pick-up access.

The project site will be fenced off at each stage, with alternating access from Pope Street and Burnside Road. Council will give advanced notice of access changes.

Regular car park users will need to use alternate parking areas during works, with parking available in Victoria Park Recreation Reserve and Moore Street. Council kindly requests car park users avoid parking in Pope Street or Bannockburn Bowls Club.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these essential upgrades.

Should you have any questions about these works, please call Council’s Roads and Drainage team on 5220 7111 or email [email protected]
