The Golden Plains Shire has prepared a Heritage Strategy to assist with meeting heritage obligations as set out in the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The Strategy helps address the identification, protection, management and promotion of the Shire's heritage.
The strategy included a list of heritage related actions, which are particularly relevant to the Golden Plains Shire. Community feedback assisted in refining and prioritising the actions that were included in the Heritage Strategy.
