ON-FARM ENERGY SURVEY

Business & Economic Development

In response to rising energy prices (both gas and electricity) and the resulting economic impact on the viability of many Victorian farmers, the Victorian Government is undertaking a survey of on-farm energy use and costs in October and November.

The survey asks questions about on-farm energy use and costs, and how the changing price and availability of energy is affecting farm businesses across Victoria.

The survey takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Participation in the survey is completely voluntary and all responses will be kept confidential.

Findings from the survey will be used to determine how the Victorian Government and industry can work together to help farmers respond to the current energy situation and make plans for Victoria’s energy future.

The survey is open until 6 November 2017 and you can choose to undertake the survey anonymously.
