Council will hold a scheduled Council Meeting to elect the Mayor and consideration of appointing a Deputy Mayor on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 6pm. The meeting will be held in-person at the Golden Plains Civic Centre and will be open to the public.

Attend Meeting
All council meetings are open to the public to either attend in person or view via livestream, with the exception of when the Council decides to close the meeting to the public (in-camera meetings) in certain circumstances. Attending council meetings can be a good way to understand how Council makes decisions.
While council meetings are an opportunity to observe the Council at work, they are not the place for members of the public to informally address councillors.
